*** SEEKING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE *** I have an envelope that has a label on it that was applied by the U.S. Post Office. I have determined that this is called a FICS (Flat Identification Code Sort) barcode. It uses a 4-state type of coding that is similar to IMb coding. I have asked the post office to decode this label for me. They are still trying to determine the right person at the sort facility that could do this. In the meantime, I am hoping that one of my technically skilled and knowledgable contacts can help decode this for me. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Im thinking that Mike Levin, Michael Sinz, Eric Cotton, William Volk, or one of my other techie contacts may have a suggestion.
