SEIZURES! PLEASE SHARE! NO INTEREST IN HELPING SO FAR! This is Wrinkles and when the shelter staff arrived at the shelter yesterday, this is how they found him in his kennel. This is a County shelter who could have euthanized him but instead, he was immediately rushed to the vet, where he was stabilized, but we found out that Wrinkles has a history of having seizures (which his owners failed to mention) and requires medication. Seizures can be brought on by stress and being at the shelter isnt helping one bit. Wrinkles issues are further complicated by a problem with her saliva gland, that without surgery to remove it, it will just keep filling up. Wrinkles is good with other dogs, cats and with kids but needs a special person who will get his medical needs addressed. To make things worse, he came in with a dog named Koopa and although we realize we may not be able to place them together, they are very bonded and it will be difficult on both of them to split them apart.
