SELF-APPRECIATION... One of the emotional trauma people suffer from is inferiority complex due to their low level of educations, poor and humble background,gender, colour of their skins, stature,environment they live in and people they walk with e.t.c. However,the way we treat ourselves is the same way others will treat and relate with us,the mental picture we have about ourselves is the same way people will see about us we must change and have better perspective and mentality about ourselves if we are going to succeed in life and destiny.Self-esteem is the way we see ourselves,self- respect is the way we treat ourselves,self- confidence is what we believe in and about ourselves and self-development is what we invest in ourselves. Therefore from time to time we must look at ourselves and learn how to appreciate ourselves because of the following reasons: We are Gods image and likeness: Everything God made was brought into existence by His word but when it comes to the turn of man man was formed and moulded with the dust of the ground by God and became living soul functioning as God through Gods breath in Him thats why we have the qualities and characteristics of God within us because we are carriers of Gods Spirit in us what a wonderful and excellence creature we are.We should never look down on ourselves anymore,we are Gods image created to represent God and exercise dominion and rule on the earth. We are carriers of Gods resources: Everyone of us is loaded with inestimable resources of God within us we have the potent potential,talents and gifts of God that is given to us to succeed and maximise our life and destiny.His talents and gifts are given to us in form of raw-material it is our responsibilities as an individual to discover, develop and deploy it to find full expression to God,impact us and humanity.We are created not to be passive but talented and gifted to be active! We are Gods steward: To change and influence the world positively it is man God always used to do the job,we are stewards whose resources of God has been committed into our hands to fulfil His purpose on the earth most especially impacting the humanity for Him and preparing people for eternity. Therefore we are expected and commanded to be faithful in what He has given to us because we shall give account of our stewardships to Him at the end of the day knowing fully that God does not reward eyes service but heart service.Friends,never under-rate yourself anymore appreciate and treat others and yourself with respect, dignity and without partiality thats what we are expected to be doing from time to time.
