SELF-DRIVING CARS WILL BE HERE IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS: What it means to drive a car changed radically and forever last night as the new #TeslaD was unveiled. In auto mode, it steers itself. You cant quite fall asleep and arrive at your destination, but you have a lot less to do behind the wheel now, as it is truly self-driving. (Its just not Self-Navigating, like Googles car.). It reads speed limit signs and accelerates or slows down. It changes lanes on its own after you tap the turn indicator. It stops on its own. And its going to be on the highways here in less than two months.
