SELL YOURSELF! The psychologist, Abraham Maslow, once wrote that, “The Story of the human race is the story of men and women selling themselves short.” The average person settles for far less than he or she is truly capable of achieving. Compared with what you could be, everything you have accomplished so far is only a small part of what is truly possible for you. To SELL YOURSELF simply means WASH CLOTHE for someone and be paid; WASH CAR for someone and be paid, IRON CLOTHES for someone and be paid; DO SHOPPING for someone and be paid; CLEAN UP AN APARTMENT for someone and be PAID. To SELL YOURSELF simply means BE WILLING TO DO ANYTHING WORTHY AND WORTHWHILE for SOMEONE and BE PAID. If nobody employs you, employ yourself. If you can’t find anything to sell, SELL YOURSELF! Hear this: He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper – Psalm 1: 3 Take note of the latter part…AND WHATEVER HE DOES SHALL PROSPER. PROSPERITY is attached to any task or duty that dignifies you. Hear this: 2 When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. – psalm 128: 2NKJV Business Approach It is sadden to see many people living their future blank, they are not expecting anything, so they get there to find nothing. Or the other way round, Be Sold Out! Do you think this does not sound well; I got scriptures that space will not permit me to unfold here in these pages. But let me share few with you. Some destiny might not be fulfilled without being sold. Joseph was sold out by his own brothers, Jacob sold himself to Laban. Judas sold his Master Jesus for 30 shekels of silver. Including I, Pastor Samm Adedewe, I was sold out to God by my mother. I was covenanted to God for a supernatural living! Time will not permit me to mention many more who are SOLD OUT! Hear this 32 And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, in order that they might obtain a better resurrection; 36 and others experienced mockings and scourgings, yes, also chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated 38 (men of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes in the ground. 39 And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, 40 because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect. Heb 11:32-40NASB You still have a better advantage (vs. 40). Greatness is a choice. Avoid people who are going nowhere. Be focused, be focused and be focused. See your life beyond yourself. Business is your regular occupation or profession. Business simply means BUYING and SELLING. You must render a SERVICE in any land you found yourself before you can take dominion. Hear this: Lu 2:49: And He said to them, Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Fathers business? STOP BEING A BEGGAR! There are so many casual and executive beggars in our churches today, people who are not ready to do anything neither for themselves nor for anybody. People who are lazy for everything, they come around for dogs meal. All they do is COMPLAIN and MURMUR that things are not working, their country is bad, they are so unlucky, how poor their parents etc Hear this: John 5:17 ¶ But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Bros, everybody know it is well, even in the well - GO and WORK! Stop being a liability. Take responsibility for yourself. Rise to a new life. Hear this: 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Ga 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 2Th 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. Prove to someone that you are an asset. You can send yourself to school and pay for another one. The word is WORK, WORK, and WORK – JUST DO IT! Set up something that will channel a cash flow to impact your generation. Bless you sister, stop quoting scriptures - GO and WORK. FAITH without WORK is DEAD! FAITH CONFESSION without WORK CONVICTION is LIFE CONFUSION. God is looking for His sons and daughters that will SELL the HEAVEN and the EARTH before they are ROLLED OFF. God has given you DOMINION to SUBDUE the PLANET. There are lots of people today making waves across the nations of the earth simply because of their Inventions, innovations, ideas, Business and willingness to do anything for the Lord.
