SENATE DEMS CLIMATE CHANGE TALKATHON: Generating media coverage of orchestrated hysteria over climate change, and impending doom without more regulations, higher taxes, expanded government, and surrendering sovereignty to a global governing body shows the world how engaged Senate Democrats are in saving the planet from its fickle climate. It is also a great way to pay back the environmental lobby groups whose money and votes help make their re-elections possible. But allof the above are really going to hate columnist Ed OKeefe from (of all places) the Washington Post for only reporting 1) that there is no pending legislation, and 2) this grotesque spectacle is a fund-raiser. He doesnt add that it is also on government time, and taking place in a government building, but I just did. Hat tip: Alan Caruba.
