SENATOR IFEANYI OKOWA; WHY I AM INVOLVED SAYS FEJIRO OLIVER No - TopicsExpress

SENATOR IFEANYI OKOWA; WHY I AM INVOLVED SAYS FEJIRO OLIVER No one can understand why I decided to pitch my tent with Senator Ifeanyi Okowa after being his greatest critic for months. I love humility and a man who listens. Then be a man who anyone can access and you have the gate key to my heart; fastidious as I may be. This is what Okowa has in him. May I at this junction make it known that during my time in prison, his campaign team who ordinarily should have abandoned me for being a spoiler stood by me. One of the Delta State Commissioner mounted pressure that I must be freed, and when it was time to spend the legal fee, they again proved that politics does not interfere with friendship. That is the man called Okowa, a man we cannot afford to lose as our Governor come 2015. I know this because I can access him. I know this because when we are gathered and he is around, he will rather come to greet you than allow you come to greet him. I dare you show me any Nigerian politician that has such humility. I know him because he does not just look at your face and forget, he calls you by name when next you meet. It doesnt just happens with his friends but all Deltans he has met. As the delegate set to decide who should be PDP Flag bearer, just one man alone can give PDP victory. He cuts across every tribe in the State, even though he represents just Delta North. He is not the everyday politician who allows his followers to lick his legs, but gives room for them to grow. I know this again, because all his aides are well to do. For his sake, Delta Central are ready to shelve the Uvwiamuge declaration, knowing that his being a governor will favor the Urhobos. For his sake, the UPU will plead with the Urhobo to vote for him, than the stooge of our corrupt governor, Uduaghan. Okowa does not just listen, he understands. He does not just sympathise, he finds a way to help. I know this because I have been involved, and I am no Anioma! The delegates already know that only Okowa can give them the kind of prosperity that Ibori made to go round in Delta State, without them having to beg him for daily bread. I know this because I have seen him in action. They should collect the N500 million that will be shared to them and cast their votes for Okowa just as they voted for his candidates during the House of Assembly primaries. I have a generation that I cannot allow to suffer and I dare to say that Okowa at this moment of history can guarantee that. We do not just seek a Delta beyond Oil, but a State where all residents are prosperous. He has the midas touch and we cannot deny him that. Uduaghan has no choice but to begin to happily prepare his handover note to this political next of kin. I have been a harsh critics of physicians for their greed, but for once, I have seen one who is different among them in Dr Okowa. Come 2015, Uduaghan or no Uduaghan, the Okowamaniac train will berth in everyone home. We wait. These little things matter...
