Reporting to the Manager Engineering, you will be based at our Lae Port Office. The Senior Civil Engineer will ensure that the Project Management and Contractual Administration for the Infrastructure Division are carried out promptly to enable PNGPCL to provide effective and efficient port facilities and services to meet stakeholder requirements. You will also inspect and carry out repair and maintenance, including development of declared ports and other facilities. Other key functions and responsibilities will cover strategic planning and management, risk management and compliance, human resource and leadership, customer service, communication and, occupational health and safety. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering • 5 years + experience as Senior Project Engineer • Knowledge in project management and contract administration. • Experience in structural engineering – design & documentation of civil structures • Posses excellent Computer Aided (AutoCAD) Drafting Competence • Projects forecasting experience • Must be commercially astute • Experience in tendering advantages • Proven ability to communicate well verbally and written PNGPCL offers genuine career opportunities with excellent competitive salary and employment conditions for this challenging role.
