SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - KZN MIDLANDS Our client requires the services of a trade tested SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – position based in the KZN Midlands (Rosetta / Mooi River area). JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet). English speaking (ability to speak Zulu an added advantage) (must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently). Food Technology, Microbiology or Biotechnology qualification. 5yrs+ previous experience in the food industry. Microbiology work experience is ESSENTIAL! Ability to work under pressure, work with deadlines. Good team player and able to work independently. Attention to detail. Person will be required to work Monday to Friday (08AM – 4:30PM) and every alternate Saturday (8AM – 5M). Person must currently reside in the Pietermaritzburg / Howick / KwaZulu-Natal Midlands area or be willing to relocate. Salary offered: R14 000-00 basic salary + benefits + 13th cheque (if the person resides in Pietermaritzburg, Howick or Estcourt, transport is provided, except on Saturdays).
