SENIOR PAF OFFICIALS VISITS CONFINED PATIENTS They may not be able to come to the party, but it does not mean that they will not enjoy the spirit of Christmas like the rest. This goes true with the two female soldiers who got hurt in a military training. Air Woman Janeth M Ventosa PAF and Air Woman Julanne S Valeras PAF, both graduates of Basic Military Training (BMT) Class 2014-A, were happy to be visited by senior officers of the PAF headed by the Vice Commander, PAF, MGEN EDGAR R FALLORINA AFP together with senior staff officers at Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center (AFPMC) otherwise known as V. Luna Hospital during a traditional Christmas visit to PAF patients confined in medical facilities. The two female soldiers were injured last November 30, 2014 at Clark Air Base when they made an imperfect touchdown during their first heliborne parajump as part of their Small Unit Tactics Training (SUTT). They were brought to AFPMC immediately after the incident and now almost fully recovered. Both suffered a minor fracture in their spinal column. The two PAF female soldiers were among the 38 PAF patients who are currently confined at AFPMC for various reasons. They received a gift from MGEN FALLORINA who came in behalf of the CG, PAF, LT GEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP who himself planned the Christmas visit but had a last minute priority engagement. During the short program, a ceremonial gift giving was held with CPT ALDWIN D GUTIERREZ PAF receiving the gifts intended for all the confined PAF patients in the said military hospital. CPT GUTIERREZ suffered an injury (knee instability) in line of duty early this year. The Vice Commander, PAF was received by the Acting Commander, AFPMC, COL BENEDICTO A JOVELLANOS MC (GSC).
