SEPARATION FROM WORLDLINESS:........... Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. 1 John 2:15-16. Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes, cease to do evil. Isaiah 1:16. REMEMBER, THIS IS LENT TIME, A TIME TO REVIEW OUR/YOUR/MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. A TIME TO REMEMBER THAT JESUS CHRIST FASTED FOR 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS BEFORE HE START HIS MINISTRY. A TIME TO ASK FOR GODS MERCY/FORGIVENESS OF SINS UPON OUR LIVES. A TIME TO ASK FOR GRACE AND STRENGTH TO OVERCOME SIN AND THE TEMPTATIONS OF THIS WORLD.
