During the show, Tiny Tim announced his engagement to Miss Vicki Budinger. Carson was so enthralled with Tiny Tims story that he invited the couple to get married on the Tonight show. The invitation was accepted and with a record-setting audience watching on December 17, 1969, Tiny Tim and Miss Vicki did indeed get married on the Tonight Show...1970-Jimi Hendrix was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Mary Abbots Hospital in London after choking on his own vomit. Hendrix apparently knew he was in trouble as earlier that night, he left a message on his managers answering machine saying, I need help bad man.
