SEPTEMBER 12, 2014 HOLY NAME OF MARY - FRIDAY. Its 815pm. Just got back from my regular Friday Mass in ASSUMPTION followed by dinner in the residence of Vicky Cruz who invited me over to join the family for dinner: steak, prawn and salad with Japanese dressing + fruit desserts (pineapple and peaches) and ice cream concocted by Kitkat, her granddaughter. What more can one ask. Super busog! Friday treat. -------------------------- I was in the office early part of the morning following up what needs to be done in the office as well as the on-going renovation of the Editorial Section of WLP. MARIOS RESTAURANT QC 1030-0130 I drove to MARIOS RESTAURANT with the Alumni Fed Secretary, Juvy M, for the National Federation Executive Board Meeting. I passed by NEW WORLD HOTEL to bring the Mass Card for + Joaquin Dy Tan ℅ Sapphira Chua. We got there 1130 ahead of the scheduled start of the meeting (which should actually be…) Some of the board members were already there and we finally had a quorum and started the meeting over lunch. I had to leave earlier than all the rest @130pm to drive all the way back to DON BOSCO for another scheduled appointment with the HEALING MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (ek ek..) in the PAL Training Office in PADRE FAURA MANILA. Traffic was slow going back to MAKATI. I was even feeling sleepy while driving and had to resort to antics just to keep myself awake on the wheels. I already had an accident a few years ago because I fell asleep driving (kaya nyo?) and I am not about to let it happen a second time. Thankfully, I reached home in one piece. PAL TRAINING CENTER 0230-0530 I was fetched with a taxi to PAL TRAINING CENTER in PADRE FAURA to hear the confessions of the F/As who attended the Intergenerational Healing Seminar conducted by the team concluded by a simple mass. There were only 14 pax in attendance. 6 Koreans. 8 Filipinas. There were suppose to be 20, but I learned some did not return for the second day of the seminar. The Healing Seminar is a part of the training program conducted in PAL. I rushed back to MAKATI for my 6pm Mass in ASSUMPTION. I barely made it. Being a Friday, traffic was the order of the day. I arrived 20 minutes before 6pm. Hopped into the Assumption car for my mass with the R.A. Sisters. I made it - still on the dot.
