SEPTEMBER 17TH What a day this is! Its the day we adopted both our precious girls! One on 9-17-06 Cara Grace our princess the other on 9-17-08 Cylee Joy smiley Cylee. What an awesome day in our lives. There is no way we could have planned this. China tells you when you can come and they schedule everything. We look at it as a God Thing! Adoption in its self, we truly believe is a God Thing only He could have put the two perfect little girls for our family together and place them right in our arms. My eyes fill with tears just thinking about it. For those you who wonder if you could love a child that you didnt give birth to let me tell you there is NO difference. From the moment they placed Cara in our arms on 9-17-06 you would have had to kill Robert and I to get her back. She was ours! It was amazing the love we had instantly! Then two years later on this day 9-17-08 The Lord did it again. He put a little 4 year old in our arms. She came to us so happy! She loved and trusted us completely from day one. She was one happy little girl. While we have had our challenges. I would not change a thing. These two little girls have forever added to our hearts and family. They have taught us things that I feel assured we could not have learned any other way except through answering the callto adopt. While my heart is over flowing with thankfulness for my girls on this day. Its also heavy. I challenge you, if you have ever felt like The Lord was speaking to you about adoption, please pray!! Ask Him if this is what He wants you to do. I promise if He is calling you to this He will provide. He is trust worthy. Its real!! There are millions of orphans in the world today, babies, toddlers, children that need a home. On behalf of Cylee and Cara please help us pray for the fatherless today! If you have felt that tugging in your heart before......What is stopping you?
