SEPTEMBER 21, 2014 DARE TO BE DIFFERENT IN YOUR FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS pt 4 IF WE ABIDE IN LOVE, WE ABIDE IN GOD AND WE ARE CHANGED FROM FEELING FEAR TO HAVING CONFIDENCE. 1 John 4:15-19 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have CONFIDENCE in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love CAST OUT FEAR, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. HERES ANOTHER WAY WE CAN EXAMINE OURSELVES TO SEE IF WE LOVE GOD. John 14:21-24 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. 1 Corinthians 8:3 but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him. John 16:26-27 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; for the Father Himself loves you, BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOVED ME and have BELIEVED that I came forth from the Father. GOD LOVES US BECAUSE WE LOVE JESUS AND IF WE LOVE GOD WE ARE KNOWN BY HIM! LETS DARE TO BE DIFFERENT in our emotions AND ABIDE IN LOVE. THE PERFECT LOVE THAT CAST OUT FEAR!
