SERIOUS POST RE: PLEDGES TO PAWS IN THE CITY. I RECEIVED THIS FROM THE FOUNDER. (IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ) If you donated to Paws in the city (pawsinthecity.org) and did not see an option to donate to Sherman Fund or for a specific dog, it may not be getting to the Sherman Fund. Paws in the City is working to make it easier, but in the meantime, here is how to do it: At the end of the donation process, after you enter your card info, there is a small blue + sign which shows designation and you need to click on it and then type in Sherman Fund (name of dog). If you recently donated to Paws in the City and did not designate the funds, please contact Becky at bhaisma@gmail and tell her your name and amount donated for which dog and she will make sure it is designated properly. Paws in the City pulled 24 dogs in the past month from Sherman. Most of them are either sick with heartworms or kennel cough or dog flu or both. They could really use donations right now to get the dogs healthy so they can continue saving lives in Sherman shelter. ALSO, I PERSONALLY, WOULD LIKE TO POST THE FOLLOWING LIST OF DOGS WHO HAS BEEN PULLED BY PAWS IN THE CITY (MOSTLY DUE TO MY BEGGING - LOL) SO THAT YOU ALL MAY REMEMBER IF YOU MADE ANY PLEDGES ON ANY OF THE FOLLOWING POOCHES. :) Acai (Dauschund) Reynold Cylara Penelope Dabloon Dawson Chio Sketch THE ABOVE BABIES ALL CAME TO PAWS IN THE CITY WITH URI INFECTIONS. Jargon Shep Pika Wrigley (formerly Socks) Indy Winn Dixie ALL THE DOGS ABOVE CAME WITH HEARTWORMS - SO TREATMENT IS VERY EXPENSIVE!! Skittles Bear (adopted) Sophie (going out of state but we paid for spay, vaccinations, testing etc.. Casper (adopted) (from Denison pound) Max Pandora Heinrich (from Fort Worth shelter) Muffin THESE ANIMALS CAME WELL, BUT SOME REQUIRED ADDITIONAL VETTING BY PAWS IN THE CITY TO BE ABLE TO BE TRANSPORTED OUT OF STATE. PAWS HAS BEEN A HUGE SUPPORTER OF THE SHERMAN ANIMAL SHELTER. PLEASE IF YOU PLEDGED OR PAID, TAKE A MOMENT TO HELP THEM LOCATE THE MONEY. THEY DESPERATELY NEED ALL FUNDS TO BE APPLIED TO THESE ANIMALS! IF YOU WISH TO DONATE FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE WELCOME THAT AS WELL!!! THANKS SO MUCH DONORS, NETWORKERS, AND FOLLOWERS!!
