SERIOUS WARNING: On Sept 6th-9th 2013 I received eleven letters in the mail ALL from credit card companys ie; JC. Penny, KOHLS, Macys, Kay Jewelers, Victoria Secret, etc...FYI the cards were ALL MAXED OUT..the letter enclosed read thank you for your recent application your permanent card will be sent shortly. I proceed to call these companys and let them know that I never applied for any card. Response: Whats your social security number, address and DOB? I said xxx-xx-xxxx, DOB: xx-xx-xxxx, Adrdress: xxx xxxxxx RESPONSE: Mama this is the information that we have but I didnt apply for nor did I open these accounts! How could you people give someone access to open accounts in my name? RESPONSE: Maam they had the proper identification. What could they have possible had that would lead eleven companys to believe that it was me? RESPONSE: they had your DOB, address, Social Security number and a valid drivers license. WHAT? Not so ...I have my drivers license on me and Ive never given nor carelessly left my purse anywhere. I guarantee you the info on it is BOGUS. RESPONSE: Maam whats your drivers license number at which point I proceed to say my license number ...RESPONSE: thats the number we have. After canceling the accounts, contacting ALL three credit bureaus and placing an online police report, contacting the DMV because God forbid they opened checking accounts in my name....and contacting a few other agencies I proceeded in getting a little paranoid ...someone is walking around as me! Well living in the state of Florida I know the only way you can obtain a replacement drivers license is to present an original social security card. So, lets move forward ..its Monday morning Ive had no mental rest the entire weekend and need to know if my social security card was pulled. After almost an hour on hold its confirmed that my file was not compromised and no one pulled a replacement social security card. I then here the Holy Spirit say ...yes I said Holy Spirit ..I here Him audibly say Sonya..the person that stole your identity used a BOGUS Florida drivers license and placed your REAL information on it with a picture of herself. I returned home Monday evening to find a Victorias Secret card in the mail box. Yeah, you guessed it, it too was MAXED OUT all the accounts were opened and the purchases were made in New York/New Jersey . I again proceeded to call their fraud department as I spoke to the investigator sharing with her my disbelief over this hold thing she proceeds in telling me it happens all the time and because I was so fixated on the ID that this person had... my drivers license??? She then throws out several senarios you could have gone to a restaurant thats not it they dont ask me for my drivers license, or a department store or maybe a doctors office..have you been to the doctors recently? OMG...on 8/11 I went to have a followup MAMOGRAM and something very strange went down between me and the reception clerk. She asked me to fill out a patient application however, i filled out the ten page book back in February and am already in your system. She then replied which an attitude: you have to every time which ticked me off as I HATE filling out patient forms. When I was finished filling out the forms I took them back to her she then asked for a copy of my insurance card and to see my drivers license which I proceeded in showing her. See its me Instead of her making a copy of my insurance card as the copier was right next to her and not being used she insisted that I have a seat and she would give me back my documents when she was finished...I said that was strange. But nonetheless I sat back down and ten minutes later she gives me back my things. Lets move forward... Its Tuesday morning I proceed to the Altamonte Springs police department and ask to speak to a detective. I proceed in giving him an incredible story of how my IDENTITY was STOLEN. The detective was in disbelief as I shared but by the end of the day as he followed my lead (coaching) on how to investigate the facility as I told him there are hundreds if not thousands of people who have been victimized and that hes going to solve a IDENTITY THEFT RING!
