A Muslim man accused of making offensive comments on a social media website following the killing of Drummer Lee Rigby has had his case dropped. Mohammed Mazar, 19, of Balmoral Drive, Woking, Surrey, was charged with improper use of the public electronic communications network. He was due to appear before Guildford magistrates on Tuesday but a prosecutor said his case had been "discontinued". On Friday, a 23-year-old white English woman who posted an offensive message on Facebook against Lee’s killers was sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment.
