SERMON PAD: SUNDAY 1st DECEMBER, 2013 THEME: DIVINE SETTLEMENT TEXT: PSALMS 98:1-9 By: Assistant Pastor (Mrs.) Odusanya Settlement means a state of not being destabilized, displaced, it means peaceful state of mind. When your needs are met, you become settled. It does not matter the degree of randomness and destruction, God gives permanent settlement. Vs 9 – God is for us, He promised to turn to all at all times. God will prepare, till and plant us in Him. WHEN GOD SETTLES YOU 1. God will Put an end to trouble in your life. 2. God will remove evil 3. He will sanitize you 1Peter 5:10 4. he will establish you and settle you. only to please and glorify Him. Is. 60:20 WHAT SHALL WE DO TO ENJOY DIVINE SETTLEMENT? 1. Plug into the power source. Be connected to God. John 15:5 You are created to succeed and its a product of your choice and action. Job 22:21 2. Work on your lifestyle 3. Live a life of positive impact. 4. You must be Focused. 5. Follow the codes of conduct of people God has settled. Realize that God is the ultimate. Must decide to finish strong. 6. Must be thankful, not taking things for granted. 7. Must forget your past. 8. Must be Gods acquaintance. 9. Having total Surrender to God. PRAYER: 1. Father, i have had your word, settle me and let be be established in your favor. 2. Father, any sin Ive commited that will not allow you to settle me, Lord be merciful. Father! according to your word this morning, Settle me and let your glory be seeing in my life, from shame to glory..... 3. Father, every trace of stagnation and retardation in my life, clear them off today in Jesus Name. 4. father, move me to a higher level rapidly, elevate me higher in you. 5. Father, stop everything that wants to stop my joy, settlement and blessings. 6. Everything standing between me and the fulfillment of your promise inmy life, father destroy them. 7. Father, every evil remaining in this year, keep me away from them, keep my family away from them. 8. Every goodness and good things for me tis year, give them unto me. 9. Father as you settle me here on earth, settle me in Heaven too.
