SERMON SUMMARY: Let it God! Lady Sibrina Swinson (Matt 18:7-8, 23-35, I Pet 2:1-3, Gen 50:16-17, Luke 23:34, Isa 43:18, Rom 12:19) In the body of Christ the most deceptive spirit is offense. The offense itself is not the problem. It is when we harbor it and allow it to grow it becomes a problem. An offended heart is a breeding ground for deception. When we fail to forgive, we are imprisoned. Offense not dealt with turns into unforgiveness. Joseph could have withheld his hands from his brothers, but he had compassion on them and forgave. Jesus is the greatest example of forgiveness. He asked God to forgive the ones crucifying Him. We must go ask for forgiveness from those we offended, hurt, did wrong, etc. Even if we arent the ones wrong, go to the other person and ask for forgiveness.
