SERVICE SPOTLIGHT: The Paynesville Area FFA Chapter held a Troop or Treat event over Halloween. They decorated boxes that were set in 2 local businesses for drop off locations, NuCara Pharmacy and Alco. Teals Market distributed fliers as grocery bag stuffers. They had other publicity with the local newspaper, Paynesville Press, entering an article and photo in the paper. Members went Troop or Treating on Halloween where they collected candy and personal care donations to send to Kuwait. Items ranged from treats to entertainment to toiletries. They were able to package 5 boxes and mail to a prearranged company that is currently serving in Kuwait. Students in the agriculture classes also wrote letters to the troops. Great job Paynesville Area FFA!
