SES Board, superintendent agree to part The Shelby Eastern School board voted on a mutual parting between it and Superintendent Linda Coleman at a Friday night meeting. The board voted 7-0 on a “mutual contract rescission” after board President Kevin Schofner brought it up, board member Rick Haymond made a motion to execute it and Doug Stocklin seconded the motion. ”We agreed to mutually rescind the contract,” said board attorney Jerry Lux. Lux said the phrase means that the board did not fire Coleman and she didn’t resign, but it was a cancellation of the contract caused by disagreements. * The terms of the rescission are still being worked out and Schofner would not say anything more about it. Coleman had been superintendent since July. shelbynews/articles/2013/10/28/news/doc526d83168484e886867854.txt
