SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for DAMAGING WIND For people in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and parts of the North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts. Issued at 12:49 pm Wednesday, 7 January 2015. Severe thunderstorms are likely to develop and produce damaging wind gusts of 90 to 120 km/h in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include the Adelaide metropolitan area and the Mount Lofty Ranges, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Renmark, Mount Gambier and Ceduna. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Secure or put away loose items around your property. * Move cars under cover or away from trees. * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
