SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for HEAVY RAINFALL and LARGE HAILSTONES For people in the Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Australian Capital Territory and parts of the Hunter, Illawarra, South Coast, Central West Slopes and Plains, Riverina and Snowy Mountains Forecast Districts. Issued at 1:25 pm Saturday, 24 January 2015. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Orange, Katoomba, Canberra, Goulburn, Yass and Parkes.
