SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING issued by BoM The State Emergency Service (SES) advises that the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds for a number of South Australian districts. The warning, issued is for people living in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and parts of the North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts. The warning advises that severe thunderstorms are likely to develop and produce damaging wind gusts of 90 to 120 km/h in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include the Adelaide metropolitan area and the Mount Lofty Ranges, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Renmark, Mount Gambier and Ceduna.
