SEWAS/ACTIVITIES AT SAI KRISHNA DHAM: Chhote Baba’s Janmotsav – 21st June A very special and memorable day, it was a historic occasion for Sai Dham – as on this day Baba and Sai Dham turned to gold. Ever since its conception in November 2008 Sai Dham resembled Shirdi with the beautiful swarup of Baba, then in November 2009 silver throne and charan were made similar to Shirdi. But now , Sai Dham truly become a Mini Shirdi when Shingasan and all items used for Baba’s pooja and blog were converted into gold. Special arrangements were made for the entire day to celebrate this occasion. Baba’s clothes, back singhasan, jewellery and even the minutest details like bindi, tilak all were thought of to create ‘a special look’ for Him on his 5th birthday at Sai Dham. There were special cards invites and hoardings put up to invite VIPs and other devotees. As devotees were coming from after lot of planning was done to make proper arrangements for darshan. A special rest room was created in our tent area for them. Buses came from Chandigarh, Roorkee, Ghaziabad etc. After this at 11 a.m. Shastriji of Prachin Shani Mandir, Haridwar did special Mahayagya and Pujan of Gold Singhasan before it was put up in Mandir by 12 p.m. This moment left everyone speechless as Baba was dressed in al his new finery and Poshak in blue velvet with swaraskis, haar & mukut. Sitting on hi new gold singhasan he looked like Emperor. Every one was in tears, such was his power that it mesmerized everyone. It is also to be mentioned here that Baba I Shirdi, Chhote Baba and Bade Baba at Sai Dham all wore the same chola. The program followed with madhyan aarti done by Pramod Madhiji, fromer Pujari from Shirdi in whose voice all aarti CDs are made. He sang the aarti so beautifully that it seemed to every one as if we are in Shirdi . After the aarti these vishal Sai monthly Bhandara at B-1 Market Paschim Vihar for 3000 people. This was managed by our kids ‘sai ke ladle’ team who served food to the poor & hungry. Simultaneously, at Sai Dham there was Bhandara for all 500 devotees who had come from far &near. The program continued with Evening Aarti at 6 p.m. After aarti, Chhote Baba was taken outside where special tent was put up & stage had been made a day before. Police Band saluted Baba & March Past, played Birthday tunes for Baba. This was followed by cake cutting ceremony of Baba’s cake. 5 special cakes had been placed on a stand for Sai Dham team members whose birthdays, anniversaries were on 20th, 21st , 22nd June. A15kg hired cake in purple colour with orchids on toy was the cake specially designed for Baba. After cake cutting, a 15 minute fire works Show another unique concept was put up from terrace of adjoining mall. More than 2500 crackers were bust in a beautiful sequence upto 200ft high in gold & colourful sparkles. The entire skyline looked glittery & starry. People upto 5kms rage could see that some celebration was going on. Many VIPs graced the occasion like, Anti Terrorist Front Chairman – Shri M S Bitta. Addl. CP (West Distt) Shri Ranganathan, ACP, SHO Anil Chauhan, MLA Shri Shyam Lal Garg, Coucillor Dr.Nayyar, many singers like Surendra Saxena, Amit Saxena, Vishal Das, Praveen Mudgal, Ijrat Khan, Shabnam Gandhi, Artiest Navneet Agnihotri, Editors of Sai Leela Times Anju Tandon & Sai Sumran Times Poonam Chanana to mention a few. A lavish Bhandara followed for 1000 people. Baba’s chola was changed and he was again dressed up for night aarti in a blue & white embroidered chola. A Jasmine flowers ‘chadar’ was put as Baba’s night jaali to put him to sleep & rest for shej aarti. The day ended by serving special bhog of ‘chocolate pan’ for more than 300 devotees.
