SFF for 1/18/2015: Hollywood: A Celebration of Silent Film was not only one of the best documentaries about film, but it was also one of the greatest documentaries of all time. It it not available on DVD due to copyright and other issues. The clips used were the best available at the time 1980), but since then the quality of many of them has been improved and restored. This is a proof of concept put together to show what a reconstructed version could look like. It uses the original soundtrack but many of the visual elements are of the recently high def, restored versions.
