SFS College conducts orientation prog for teachers AALO, July 18: S F S College, Aalo organized two days orientation programme for teachers of Aalo at college premises on July 15 and 16. Altogether forty participants from various schools and colleges took part in the training session. Addressing the inaugural function, Dr Fr Emmanuel – the Councillor in-charge of Education, M S F S, North East Province, enlightened the role of teachers in 21st century and effective CBT strategies for working with students, expectations of students and students requirements and integrated teaching methodology. The training envisaged to update and empower the human resources, class room management and co-ordination, holistic view of teacher-student relation and also to help the teacher to understand their students well. Attending the valedictory function, the West Siang Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar enlightened the audience about the social dynamic existing in our society in relation to crime and the role of police officers and people in creating a just and fair society. The Resource Persons, Fr. Dr. Emmanuel Uppanthadathil – Councilor in-charge of Education, M S F S, North East Province, Rev. Fr. Joshy Mathew, M A English, M Sc Psychology, Manager, SFS College, Rev.
