SGHA HOCKEY - COACHES COURSES Please find the following information regarding coaches’ courses that will be offered by SGHA in 2014. Level 2 Criteria This course is aimed at coaches who would like to coach senior club level, premier league, 1st team school, provincial and junior national level. Coaches must be capable of doing the following to attend this 4-day workshop: And have completed and passed level 0 and 1. 1. Be able to present a power point presentation including video clips on a given subject. 2. Be able to communicate and ask questions at a high performance level. 3. Be able to conduct a high performance training session on a given task. 4. Be able to assess other coaches’ sessions. 5. Be able to interact and work with other coaches. Level 1 This course is aimed at coaches who would like to coach high school and club level. You must send a short coaching CV to psigauteng@gmail - Attention Allistar Fredericks. Coaches must wear proper coaching attire, as you will be involved in running drills etc during practical’s. Level 0 This course is aimed at coaches who would like to coach players aged 6-12yrs. Costs Costs will cover the following: 1. Light refreshments and lunch 2. Facility and equipment hire 3. Facilitator 4. Certificates Manuals The manuals can be purchased directly from the SGHA office once you receive your certificate as proof of attendance. The office no. is 011 793 4905. Certificates You will receive your certificate from SA Hockey and all your data will be placed on the SA Hockey Coaches Data Base and SGHA coaches data base. Plus names will be given to the Gauteng Hockey Coaches Forum Venue: The courses will all take place at Beaulieu College Astro Clubhouse 107 Maple Avenue-Kyalami Please bring along hockey sticks and notebooks. Bring a memory stick if you have one.
