SGT Desmond Davis, 41 ANG Sturgis/Augusta MI 18 & 19 June 2013, The family of SGT Desmond Davis has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his service to our country. SGT Davis was in the Michigan Army National Guard currently stationed at the Regional Training Institute at Fort Custer in Augusta, Michigan. He was a highly decorated soldier serving in Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. He was stricken with ALS in 2010 and has struggled to stay alive since then. His struggle ended Thursday, 13 June, when he died at his home.
