SANCTIONING OF MORE THAN 70 SUB-CENTRE, ISM DISPENSARIES,UPGRADATION TO NTPHC, FOR RAJOURI IS HISTORIC DECISION ROGI KALYAN SAMITI MEETING CHAIRED AT PHC BAGLA NADYALA, DOONGI Shabir Ahmed Khan Former Health Minister and MLA Rajouri today chaired Rogi Kalyan Samitti (RKS) meeting of Primary Health Centre Bagla Nadyala and give nod to the utilization of funds in the interest of Public. All the members of the RKS attended the meeting and Block Medical officer Manjakote Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed read the last quarter’s meeting agenda and decision cum actions taken were reviewed. BMO apprised the Hon’ble MLA, who is also the Chairman of RKS, the detail of work done in the institution besides the detail of various items to be purchased for smooth functioning of PHC. In the meeting, the RKS members highlighted their demand of Staff quarters at PHC Bagla Nadyala, which is of dire need in ensuring better health care services to the public. Khan after listening their demands assured the RKS members and public of the area that the work of staff quarters shall be proposed in the next annual plan. Khan after a threadbare discussion with the RKS members regarding the proposed items to be purchased in the interest of patient health care out of RKS funds, gave his nod for the same and said that Health Dept. is the on the priority of the State government. Khan impressed up on all the doctors and Paramedics to work with zeal and dedication to provide the best Health care services to the general masses. Being far-flung area, Khan also stressed upon the Block Medical officer to ensure proper supply of medicines and Glucose and other related items in the interest of public. Khan after the RKS meeting addressed a huge gathering who welcomed the local MLA with garlands and thanked him for the Tehsil Status to Doongi Brahmana. Khan while addressing the gathering said that creation of Administrative units shall open the way for the development of the region. Khan said that Tehsils Niabats and CD Blocks shall reduce the gap between public and Administration and shall provide the basic facilities at their door step. Khan said Congress High Command always remained vigilant for the development of state. He reiterated that during his tenure as Health Minister, sanctioning of more than 70 Sub-centres is a historic decision. Up-gradation Sub-centres to the level of New Type PHC’s and sanctioning of new ISM (Indian System of Medicines) Dispensaries is a big gift for Rajourvians. Khan thanked for time to time intervention of Former Union Minister for Health & FW Jb. Ghulam Nabi Azad and Prof. Saif-Ud-Din Soz President JKPCC, which resulted into better future of state in perspective of Health Department. Khan said that it was Azad sb who on his recommendation gave nod to the sanctioning of 676 Sub-centres for the state and doubled the amount of funds under National Health Mission and released 434 crores instead of 224 crores in the year 2013-14 and just for benefit of the public of the state, so that they could get better health care facilities at their door step. Khan also highlighted various achievements for the last five years and said that the motto of his party is to establish a link between people of far-flung areas and government. Khan said that public service and better development is the only aim of his party, which they carry everywhere. Sarpanches, Panches and prominent persons of the area apprised the MLA regarding the losses due to flash floods and early restoration and redressal. They showed full faith in his leadership and said that being the Only MLA who paid frequent visits to the area, shall be voted and supported fully. Other who spoke on the occasion were Sarpanch Karamat, Sarpanch Raj Kumar, Yougesh Sahrma Sarpanch, Dr. Rashid Retd. Hanief Jatt Panch,Nazir Hussain, Koushal Sharma, Abdul Rehman, Zubaida Begum, Manju Shrama Mahila President,Gulzar Hussain and various prominent persons of the area.
