SHADOW, THIS SENIOR BOY HAS NOT EATEN WELL **** A LAB MIX AT 40 LBS, 7 YEARS OLD!!!! *** CANT SOMEONE DO BETTER FOR THIS SENIOR, PLEASE One home for seven years and now Shadow is dumped here. This senior, with his nice personality and temperament, doesnt deserve dying here. Owner going into a shelter but still are there no other options for a faithful companion??? I question the care for all these years anyway. 40 LBS FOR A LAB MIX?? Shadow SHOWED NO AGGRESSION during the resource testing, but he was obviously hungry. At that weight, he hasnt gotten enough to eat. Shadow is said TO BE GOOD WITH KIDS, pretty active for a senior dog, liking brisk walks. On intake he allowed petting, all handling, and was relaxed. Sounds like he ENJOYS THE ATTENTION OF HUMANS. Off leash he greeted dogs nose-to-nose and had soft play habits with males and females. We need an experienced, compassionate person to take in this senior boy who will die here because hes older, black, and a mix. We need someone who takes the spirit of the holiday seriously and saves the life of this deserving dog.
