SHAD’s BLOG NO. 35 QUALITY EDUCATION FOR THE DEPRIVED? Part XXVIII So in the end you most likely end up receiving an education for reasons that have been pre-programmed into the delivery of education, into the packaging of the content. They’re not YOUR OWN reasons. Just because you take ownership of them does not make them YOUR OWN. How often do you find yourself thinking about what you REALLY think? You could call them “OURS” if you received education without the shrink-wrapping, without civilizational bias, without the packaging. Because then one would study Math, Sciences, Law and Finance, Economics and Medicine for reasons that have to do with oneself: i.e. with who YOU/WE are, what YOU choose and want, how, why, where and when. Imagine receiving knowledge without the content being contaminated by pre-fabricated intent and calculated design. It would be a much purer experience, this gathering and bundling of knowledge for and beyond its own sake. Think of its potency to generate uniquely new ideas and innovations all your own. They would spring directly out of your inner core, your true being. They would be pretty generic when not processed and influenced by the civilizational sales-wrapping. Think of the unchartered flights of imagination into personal dreams and ambitions, foraging through an entirely new vision of goals and outcomes….outside the tantalizing influence of dreamy Disneyque screen-lands. It’s a world that is more accessible to the developing world’s rural communities than their urban counter-parts. Largely because they remain quite disentangled from the tentacles of civilizational bias. (cont’d….in Part XXIX) © Copyright 2013 Shad Moarif ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
