SHAGGY DOG RESCUE this is another one of new rescues this past weekend, this little girl is approx 3 yrs old and part shih tzu and we brought her in from the lufkin shelter, she was so matted and covered in fleas and ticks, just awful ..she must have been outside a long time, the matts on her legs, feet and back were cutting into her skin, she just curled up and slept all of the way back to houston to the vet and the first thing i asked them to do was shave her down to make feel better and get rid of all of the ticks, her head was covered in them she must have felt horrible..the shelter named her phyllis and we decided to keep the name she is such a sweet little girl and must only weigh about 12 lbs..
