SHARE -- LAST ARAMEAN CHRISTIANS IN TURKEY AGAIN UNDER ATTACK. For the third time in a short period, earlier today Turkish radicals stormed a Catholic Church in the district of Yeşilköy in Istanbul where the Syriac Orthodox also pray. Crosses and icons were left smashed on the floor. The church leaders have immediately requested the local authorities 24/7 protection. The Turkish press writes that the Turkish authorities havent done anything against these perpetrators, who used frightening slogans like Death to Christians! The World Council of Arameans (Syriacs) strongly condemns these terrorist deeds and urge the Turkish government to take action against these terrorists, bring them to justice and secure the safety of the last Aramean, Greek and Armenian Christians in the country! Must someone really first be killed again, as in the case of the Armenian intellectual Hrant Dink, before the Turkish government can be woken up?
