SHARE THIS: MOUAU Post UTME 2014 - How to Calculate Your Average Score. Good morning Friends, Welcome to a brand new week. For my JAMBite Friends at MOUAU, lets this morning, let us talk about the Post UTME scores. By now, most of us, if not all of us, must have seen our scores and it has become obvious that many/most of us do not quite understand the details of our scores. Therefore, we are going to take some time this morning to analyse these scores in detail. Jamb Average Score: This refers to the average score calculated from your JAMB score. This score is gotten by dividing your JAMB UTME score by 8. The calculated average is then rounded up to the first decimal. PUTME Score: This is simply your score from the Post UTME test. Average Score: This is the overall average score of your JAMB UTME Score and your Post UTME Score. This score is calculated by adding your JAMB Average Score to your PUTME (Post-UTME) Average Score. How to calculate your JAMB Average Score has been explained above. How to calculate your PUTME (Post-UTME) Average Score, simply divide your PUTME Score by 2, that will give you the average. Your Average Score is then calculated by adding your JAMB Average Score to your PUTME Average Score. This year however, the MOUAU portal has done all these calculations already all of which are available in your result print outs. Permit me to run out to a few appointments this morning. Later in the day, I will attempt to analyze the meaning of our Average Scores, based on my over 5 years experience as the WebMaster @ MOUAU. However, do feel free to post your questions or comments. I will try to catch a few and respond from my phone. Otherwise I will get to respond to all your responses as soon as I can get to my desk. Note, that our group (https://facebook/groups/MOUAUProspectiveStudents2014) will shut down by the end of day tomorrow, Tuesday 29th and move over these activities to our project page at https://facebook/AllNigerianStudents Therefore, I will advice that you post your most important questions and comments on the AllNigerianStudents Project page - https://facebook/AllNigerianStudents - as I will give more attention on the page and make sure to Like the page in order to receive my updates from the page.
