SHARING A FRIENDS THOUGHTS Great discussions here,albeit, rather academic in nature.Harmony ?. It is just like the word respect,love,peace and all those conditions or state of mind that emit(s) the prevalence of comfort,appeasement,equanimity,tranquility etc enjoyed by all those who need them.However, harmony like all these necessary words connoting the well-being of mind ,general or subjective as they maybe,has or have never been a fortuitous product but rather the result of the sum total of all consummated engagements interactions or affairs between men in a particular or general citizenry.Invariably,to achieve all these,the right attitude of tolerance ,give and take, mutual understanding,sacrifice and compromise is key. Peace and harmony must be earned.It must be protected and maintained.....the acts of which,are so varied in nature as differing situations may call for.On this,man is not only guided by the repository of knowledge philosophies or wisdom of polymaths from the past but also from the currency of his own experience under present settings.All the same people will have to pay a high price for maintaining harmony or peace as they are equally many malevolent succubus or bogey men who have obsessive penchant for war and crisis for some devillish agenda of their own in order to survive.But they will be quick to justify that peace and harmony are in essence, the price of war and not otherwise.....hehe.
