SHARING FROM CHAIN OF HOPE: Cowboy Leon is looking for his forever - TopicsExpress

SHARING FROM CHAIN OF HOPE: Cowboy Leon is looking for his forever home! Leon has a very sad past. He was rescued from a bad situation -- he did not have a lot of social interaction and he had heartworms when he came to Chain of Hope. We have healed Leons heart, and we are helping him learn to be brave. Leon is timid and it takes him a while to feel comfortable in new situations. Even though he is a bit anxious, he is a great dog! He is very sweet and enjoys being petted and snuggled. He likes to meet new people and quietly receive pets and snuggles, and he LOVES to meet new dogs. Leon is potty trained, crate trained and quiet. His favorite activity is to sit on the bed and look out the window. Leon is about 4 years old and about 75lbs. Leon is a Golden Retriever mix -- he looks like Snuggle Bear from the Downy laundry commercials. Leon needs a forever home who can help him be brave, and be patient as he adapts to his new home. Leon will do best with another dog or dogs to help him adjust, and a person or people who understand that he has been through a lot and needs to feel safe and loved. Go to chainofhopekc.org to fill out an application for Cowboy Leon. You can also contact Leons foster mom Ashlee at 913-475-7877 or ashleefolsom@yahoo All Chain of Hope friends come spayed or neutered, vaccinated and up to date on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Chain of Hope asks for a $150 adoption fee for all friends. Are you the one for Leon? Help show this sweet guy that the world is not so scary and can be a wonderful place!
