SHARZIS LOW CARB, LOW SUGAR SNACK Sometimes I just want something sweet and filling but not have to feel guilty about it! This fits the bill. I actually take it to work with me for breakfast when Im too rushed to make something. I mix it up on Sunday night and it makes 5-6 servings. A little protein, a little fruit, and low sugar and carbs. Cant beat that! ------------------------------------------------------- * 1 container of lite Cool Whip * 2 cups 1% cottage cheese * 1 tsp (or more) of sugarfree strawberry banana jello powder - or if you prefer, sugarfree instant pudding powder * Stevia or artificial sweetener (if needed), to taste Mix all ingredients until well blended. Portion into 6 servings. Bring along 2 graham crackers cracked along the lines (equals 8 small ones) to dip into the mixture - if desired. In a separate container, if desired.... choose one of the following: * a few seedless grapes, each one cut in half * half of a large banana, sliced * a few strawberries, sliced * a couple tbsp crushed pineapple * a few finely chopped cherries * mandarin orange slices with orange flavored jello powder * any other fruit you like If you decide to add fruit, do not add it until ready to eat, otherwise it will make the mixture watery. Optional: Bring along a few graham crackers to spread the mixture on.
