SHE FOUND HERSELF Late at night she would cry herself to - TopicsExpress

SHE FOUND HERSELF Late at night she would cry herself to sleep, She was drowning in troubled waters that were too deep. She found herself in a jar of clay on the shelf, Broken and wrench yet eccentric like an elf. She needed that divine and secret place, Where she could find sweet solace. She ran till she became empty and frustrated, From man to man her privacy was invaded. But then in your arms she found herself, Her heart that was once destroyed, Became permanently restored. You touched, moulded and mended her broken places, All she felt was grace poured into her crevices. Now she saw herself in the most beautiful pottery on the shelf, Whole and secure, her tripartite self. Her identity became one with God, For the day she found herself in your arms, she sang the song, ‘The lady, her lover and lord.’ Inspired by God Brittney Balfour
