SHE might look invincible but Serena Williamss rivals are adamant the world No.1 can be toppled. At the Sydney International yesterday Serbian world No.8 Jelena Jankovic and Czech No 6 Petra Kvitova both said the key was showing no fear of the American superstar. I think if you are going to play against Serena you must go in still thinking you can beat her because I think a lot of players go into play her are mentally down, said Kvitova, who lost both her 2013 clashes against Williams. You have to play 100 per cent your best tennis and it is always about the small things when you are playing her. For me she is an inspiration and motivation for me to be better. Jankovic said the key to beating Williams is taking self belief into matchups. I think I am one of the few players who has a lot of wins against her and her sister, said Jankovic, who has a 4-8 record against Williams. It is a matter of time. You have to believe you can beat her. Of course she is the best player in the world. She is so very strong and plays so well. She has been playing so well the last year, very consistently. As a player, when you step on the court you dont have to think it is Serena on the other side. You go out there and play your tennis. If you are able to beat her in the past you are able to beat her again.
