SHEFFIELD will look to get back to winning ways as they welcome Workington to Owlerton on a Thursday (7.30). The Window Centre Tigers suffered a disappointing defeat against Ipswich on home soil last week. However, they will aim to bounce back as they take on a Comets side featuring former Sheffield stars Ricky Wells and Simon Lambert. In-form Aussie Taylor Poole moves back into the main body of the side following the release of the new averages, with local lad Ben Wilson dropping down to reserve in his place. Joe Screens side will again operate rider replacement for the injured Andre Compton, although they will otherwise be at full strength as they look to add three points to their Premier League tally. Skipper Simon Stead has been in flying form for the Tigers in recent weeks, and he is calling on his side to put in a big performance to claim victory. Said Stead: Things dont get any easier for us, and its going to be a tough match for us at home against Workington. They are a strong side with some top riders, and we are going to have to ride a lot better than we did last week if we are going to come out on top. Its going to be difficult but hopefully we can get our heads down, put in a good performance and give our fans something to shout about.
