SHEPHERDS VOICE ANNUAL FAST Jan. 8, 2015 thru Jan. 18, 2015 Ten continuous days Beginning Thursday at 2:30pm and Ending Sunday at 2:30pm Liquid / Juice Fast: 1. Approved Items • 100% fruit juices • 100% vegetable juices • Raw Oats Blended in a Smoothie • Any and All Raw Vegetables, Fruit or Raw Nuts may be Blended or juiced • Almond milk or Coconut milk may be used with Vegetable and or Fruit smoothies • Water, Coffee, Almond Milk, Coconut Milk and Tea (Hot or cold and non-dairy creamer may be used) • Sweeteners - Raw Honey, Stevia • Sugar free Protein Powder Blended (smoothie) with Veggies, Fruit and or the approved liquids that are listed above. • All Green or Fruit Powdered Supplements that are 100% natural and without added and or processed sugar • All Natural Vitamins - Pills, Liquid or Powder • For blending or juicing, fruit should be fresh or frozen with No added or processed sugar • For blending or juicing fruit in a can, fruit must be in water or its natural juices without any syrup or added sugar (Not Recommended) • Soup that is 100% vegetable, natural and liquid (No chunks of vegetables, meat or anything else) • Most Soups and Vegetable juices that are normally found in a can are not 100% natural and are not acceptable for this Fast (V-8, Campbell Tomato Soup, etc). There may be exceptions at Sprouts or other Whole food stores where soups or vegetable juices may be 100% natural so read the label. 2. Items Not Approved: • No Sugar • No Meat • No Whole Nuts (Only blended or juiced) • No Artificial Sweeteners • No Broth • No Cooked Foods (Except for vegetable soups referenced above) • No Soda • No Cows milk or Goats milk • No Eggs
