When you think someone is the reason for your downward spiral in life, or you think someone killed your mother, or you mention the name of your grandmother when you narrowly escaped a calamity or you think your wife is the reason youre wallowing in extreme penury or you consult an imam, a Mallam, your aunt to decipher if the future looks bright for your family, or You even go further to ascertain if the lady youve dated for over a year or two has any bad omen before you go in to marry her or you believe what your imam said with regards to the destiny of your new born child(like Odewale in the gods are not to blame). Youve committed Shirk & as a consequence youll be disposed off to roast in the everlasting fire of Jahannam, irrespective of your identity as a Muslim.(thats If you dont repent & die in that state) You consult a prophet around your locality to see if he could help you win the election, the football match or assist you excel in your exams or to fetch the names of your enemies or help you wrestle a top cabinet portfolio. Youve committed Shirk & as a consequence youll be disposed off to roast in the everlasting fire of Jahannam,irrespective of your identity as a Muslim.(Thats if you dont repent & die in that state) Youre given a potion reputed to have medicinal or protective powers by your Mallam or you have something under your pillow or somewhere hanged in your room, or your locker which you think defends you against any external force. Or you give credit to your Mallam for healing your chronic persistent sickness or you visit your Mallam to help you manipulate someone in an attempt to get the better of the person during interviews et al. Youve committed Shirk & as a consequence youll be disposed off to roast in the everlasting fire of Jahannam, irrespective of your identity as a Muslim.(thats If you dont repent & die in that state) The afore listed could be easily achieved. It could to a certain degree be worked on by your Mallam however its repercussion far outweighs its advantage. Allah always admonish us via the lip of Prophet Mohammed(SAW) to know him before we worship him. What do you understand by that? Well, hes our maker, nourisher & none, I mean none deserves to be worshipped but HIM. When youre in a state of despair, trauma, financial turmoil, seeking for a mandate to lead people. Bow in prostration & disclose your plea to him alone. When you want power, President or you want to be protected against external powers, or you want to convince that fine Lady in your class because she perfectly fits your description of a marriage material. Ask him through prayers. When your relative die. Accept the fact that, the time destined for him to die was due & never utter O, he died a premature death. Subhanallah.
