SHIVER: Introducing SHIVER, a female Australian Cattle Dog mix. This beauty is around 2 ½ years young and weighs about 29 pounds. This girl comes with a pretty amazing story. Shiver came to another rescue as a cruelty case. She was seized from a drug house where she had been tied out and left to starve. When she came in, she weighed only 15 pounds! She weighed about half of what she does now. The rescue helped make her strong, healthy and trusting and she is now entered into the Camp Canine Program where she will learn dog manners to help with the outside world. She is blossoming into an incredible dog!! She is a little shy, but VERY affectionate. She is very friendly with people and will play well with other dogs once they have been introduced. She would be great for a family or a single home. SHIVER is currently enrolled in the CAMP CANINE PROGRAM and is doing really well with her training! When she has completed the Camp Canine Program, she will be an AKC Good Citizen who knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) and other skills that she will need to interact politely with humans and other dogs. SHIVER is fully vetted, spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. If you would be interested in receiving more information or would like to meet this strong, grateful survivor please contact Lisanne at the Humane Society of Oldham County at 502-795-7151 or email to: [email protected]! If you have questions regarding adoption fees or the adoption process or requirements, please see a copy of the adoption application at this link: humanesocietyoldhamcounty/adoption_application.pdf
