SHOCKING DESECRATION OF A CHURCH IN DELHI Dear Friends, Even as we are preparing in this Advent Season for the coming of Jesus Christ and particularly His birth on 25th December, I heard the shocking news of a church, the holy Bible, the Altar and other sacred objects being burnt. in Delhi. Today’s desecration is most shocking. The deep sentiments and faith of the Christian community are greatly wounded. It is a pity that in the present day liberal spirit of globalization, such dastardly incidents take place. This is just to hurt and disturb the Christian community from an unholy disposition of hate. Such a desecration deserves total condemnation. We support the demand of the Delhi Church authorities for an immediate investigation of the cause of the burning of the Church and also complete compensation for the damage. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should himself pay attention to the matter.
