SHOKAY has transformed its knitting cooperative on Chongming Island into an open textiles workshop. Just over an hour away from Shanghai, the creative space welcomes visitors for custom ordering hand knit pieces from yak down, knitting classes, and sam Create crafts, enjoy sampling services for designers wanting to create their own hand knit collection and experience the natural environment of rural China. RMB300 per person includes transportation, lunch, a visit to an organic farm to pick seasonal legumes, participation in art creation, and a visit to SHOKAY’s textile workshop.
