SHOLIO ARISE! My peace loving Sholio people (MDA), I salute - TopicsExpress

SHOLIO ARISE! My peace loving Sholio people (MDA), I salute your courage and boldness for the meeting u held with the State Governor on 17/03/2014. From all that transpired in the meeting with the state governor as presented, I see that nothing was achieved at all especially regarding the security of southern Kaduna. The recent attack was a Christmas for the attackers. This was one of the attacks out of the many ever carried out that the attackers went almost unchallenged. An attack of 5hrs with no security intervention even from a neighbouring security post at Ganawuri. Even if the soldiers were to come from Kafanchan or even Kaduna, would it have taken them 5hrs to arrive? My people, the handwriting on the world is clear. Does the response of the Governor of Kaduna State, who claims he has fulani blood in him, (cf. Hon Asakes write up on same subject matte) not suggest he appreciates the genocide perpetrated by his kins? I am not a security personnel to have read signs of this attack. But my intuition kept telling me that something terrible was hanging especially as soon as our people started intercepting and foiling fulani attacks on the Takaad people, which was a right thing to do. I prayed and prayed and asked colleagues to help me pray that this it does not happen. But behold. May be the prayer didnt get a corresponding action. We are left with this wound for the rest of history. The question is, how many more of such can the land survive? If such happens again say a second or third time, will there be anything more left to be called sholio? Since the beginning of insurgents in Nigeria, i hear it said on radios and televisions that security is everyones business. If i may ask, what is our understanding of this? I think the red lights are on, still blinking. From the behaviours of the fulanis that we all grew up with in sholio land, do u think this is all about it? My own answer may not be Yes. I dont know what your guess will be. Does my feeling sound doomy? Well, I dont know myself. I hereby make my conclusion: While we hopelessly await any security coverage by government, i think the people should respond to the natural instinct of preservation of life. The people must organise to keep vigilant over the land and our lives. IN A TOWN WHERE EVERYBODY GOES TO SLEEP, DISASTER IS LIKELY. I believe in a God who watches over us. But i also believe that the same God uses people to achieve. He used David to humble the Philistines, he came as a human being to save us. The same Israel, is still surrounded by enemies to this day. If Israel should sleep for 2 minutes, they will be wiped from the map of he world. And God is helping them. We must move from the understanding of a Christianity of naivety and purely fascist. I am really afraid that if these mongrels lunch any other attack successfully, the story might be a worse one to tell. I get surprised when i hear people asking why the Atyen will not respond in the face of such attacks. Why have we soon forgotten the inter-tribal unsettled scores of antiquity between the Aesholio and Atyen? If our Christianity has made us forget, do we presumably conclude that they have done same? I am not even calling for an exhuming of buried issues of antiquity. But we can stand on the sand antiquity to guard the present and future. I am not an advocate of violence. No No No. But I am a strong advocate of vigilance and self defence. My discussions long before this attack with few people about vigilance following other occurrences in some parts of southern Kaduna made some people to see me as a prophet of doom for Sholio. We were seemingly celebrating a false peace declared by our insincere, betraying people called traditional leaders. Could it be that I lacked the language to communicate this idea for them to understand or may be I didnt have the rare privilege of discussing with the right people? This is no time for long blames. We (MDA) have expressed our bitterness to the appropriate authorities in the most civilised manner. We must quickly return home and secure our land collectively. When it visit Magata for example, it is a visit to the entire land and must be seen and handled as such and never to be left for the village alone. It must be a collective vigilance. Sholio land is the only land the Aesholio people have, a gift from God himself. We must guard it with our lives to avoid anyone taking it from us. Do we need any one to tell us that this is WAR? We must rise, conquer fear and keep vigil over the land to stop any further incidents. For we either struggle to keep vigil and defend our land together or be prepared to perish together.
