SHOULD CHRISTIANS LISTEN TO SECULAR MUSIC? This is a question I’ve wondered about for a long time. I love music in a variety of genres (from 80’s to Jeremy Camp to pop). I especially like songs with upbeat, catchy tunes. While I know that the lyrics of some songs aren’t necessarily “God honoring” (they don’t mention God) or don’t have a Christian theme, does that really make them wrong to listen to? I know that there are definitely some songs that cross the line and really aren’t okay, but most seem to fall in a “gray area” — not good, not bad.
