SHOULD YOU DIE TODAY Luke 12:16-21: Hebrews 9:27 Should you die today! This is not a question. Rather. it is a supposition that if you were to die today. what are the facts and realities your soul will face in the great beyond. The Bible makes it clear that IT IS APPOINTED UNTO MEN ONCE TO DIE. AND AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT ( Hebrews 9:27 ) It is clear that everyone who has the privilege of living will render account to God. the Giver of life. Should you die today. you would be required to account for how you have spent all your gifts. talents. opportunities .privileges. possessions. body. soul and spirit. SO THEN EVERYONE OF US SHALL GIVE ACCOUNT OF HIMSELF TO GOD ( Romans 14:12 ) Your pass life would be brought under close examination. Your words. manner of life. thoughts. activities and everything you ever said or did will be weighed. They will be judged whether they agree with the righteous standard of God or not. The rich man in Luke 16 wasted his time and acted foolishly in not preparing for the day of accountability. Are you like that ? He lived as though he would never die or appear before the Lord. He was self-centered and selfish. There are people . who like this man. live .talk. dress and act as if there is no God and no end. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME To repent is the counsel of the Bible ( 2 Corinthian 6:2 ) Get really for heaven the time is short .
